Client Story: Michelle Elise Artistry Rebrand

You know those dream clients that you obsess over and pray that they walk through your “virtual” door one day? Well, it just so happens that one of my #bizbesties is the epitome of my dream client! Michelle is the owner of Michelle Elise Artistry, specializing in wedding day hair & makeup. She has built a blossoming business over the last 5 years, has grown her team to 10 girls and has a portfolio that will blow your mind. When she came to me and told me it was time to do a rebrand… let’s just say my excitement was REAL!

Michelle had not updated her website since she started the business and felt like it didn’t truly represent her brand or ideal client. Another point she made was that she didn’t feel like she had a “defined” brand. So this is the first thing we tackled. It was really important that we defined the look and feel of Michelle Elise Artistry and what it stood for. This is where the inspiration board came in. We came up with “modern minimalist” for her brand feel and I think this nails it right on the head!

After we finalized the vision board, we started brainstorming what items Michelle would need for her rebrand. She already had a beautiful logo that fit her brand perfectly so we decided to focus on creating marketing materials for the various bridal showcases she attends, new business cards that fit her new style, and a completely updated website. The general theme we wanted to stick to was high-end, simple, and clean. For all the marketing materials, I used the same colors and fonts for consistency and made sure we had a ton of white space to create a very clean look.

Once we completed the marketing materials, it was time to jump into the website design. To go with the theme of modern minimalist, we wanted to again keep the website very simple and clean. There were a couple elements that were extremely important to Michelle for the website.

One of them was incorporating her amazing brand video, created by Joe from Reelist Multimedia. We decided it would be best to put this front and center on the homepage where her audience could see it right when they came to the site.

Another important element of the website was creating a hidden page that Michelle could use as a client portal. Having this page allows Michelle to send the link directly to her clients with all of the important information they need to know about working with her. Having everything in one place helps cut down on the number of back and forth emails and keeps all of the most important information and documents in one place.

Overall, Michelle’s new website is easy to navigate, exudes the high-end experience her clients receive in real life and provides all of the most important details for potential clients.
